RM72

Based on a 1983 BMW R100RS, the bike was blown apart to the frame.  Original hardware zinc plated, the frame sandblasted and powder-coated, all other metal surfaces refinished to an oem standard.  The engine was rebuilt with skimmed heads to further raise compression to euro spec.  The ignition system was replaced with a modern digital module, with switchable curves and a crank mounted pickup. Bodywork is finished in Mode Grau, a modern interpretation of Fashion grey from the Porsche color palette of the 1950s.  The front end was rebuilt with oem parts with Ohlins adjustable Shock absorbers in the rear.
